Title: Licensed Health Insurance Agent Duration: 5+ Months Assignment Shift: Flexible to work 8-hour shifts Monday through Sunday from 8:00am to 10:00pm as per eastern zone (or as business demands).

Summary
The Licensed Agent primary responsibility is to assist individuals with identifying the best health insurance product to meet their individual needs. The agent creates solutions for the customer and ensures a smooth sales process. Sales agents follow up with the customer to close the sale and drive referrals from their customer base. The agent will handle primarily inbound calls with the goal of enrolling the customer into a health plan, but some outbound calls will also be required to follow up and close the sale or support marketing campaigns to convert leads into sales opportunities.
Job responsibilities:
Sell health insurance products to individual Under 65 and/or Over 65 consumers in a call center environment.
Provide the best member and potential member sales experience with a focus on delivering value and exceeding expectations while always focused on the consumer's needs.
Present and explain recommended product solutions, including benefits, features, company services, operation processes, present alternatives as appropriate.
Facilitate application process; advise customers of eligibility and follow established procedures to adhere to department and federal guidelines.
Review with and deliver product fulfillment materials to customers.
Achieve or exceed sales quotas across product lines using acquired product knowledge and selling skills.
Support both inbound (90%) and outbound calls to Consumer prospects through marketing campaigns.
Requirements
Minimum of High School Diploma
Obtain state required Health Insurance license prior to the start of product training. - Requirement for assignment
**MUST be able to adapt to ANY client business-needs changes that take place during the length of the assignment
100% adherence to assigned schedule during the open enrollment season.
Experience using computers and navigating among multiple systems and screens effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including well developed interpersonal skills.
Experience with listening and relating key information to comparable selling situations to apply appropriate responses and actions.
Work experience in a sales position where sales skills were demonstrated
Required Licenses and Certifications:
2-40 or 2-15 License (Florida health isnurance license) and Resident state health insurance license.
