Saab, Inc.is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to contribute as an integral part of the Shared Services Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and analytical skills, accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.

This individual will be key in supporting the Accounting Department and have previous experience working in such areas as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue, Invoicing, Inventory, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Month-end closing procedures, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

• Prepare cash flow analysis.

• Assist with short term cash forecast.

• Complete monthly IFRS 16 reporting in compliance with company guidelines.

• Ensure compliance of company policies and procedures through Internal Control Management tool

• Support for tax filings, financial, compliance related audits.

• Participate in core business process improvements.

• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

• Support upcoming ERP implementation project.

Compensation Range: $61,600-$75,500

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting discipline or business environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Oracle & IFS experience helpful, but not required.

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Solid written and oral communication skills and analytical problem solving.

• Sound and consistent business judgment, a good grasp of Company priorities and a sense of urgency. High level of enthusiasm, a positive attitude, the ability to remain flexible to meet internal and external needs.
