OVERVIEW

International Sales Director

Based in Jacksonville, we require an ambitious Sales Director to join the International Sales Organization and lead sales within the South America Region. This role will also have line management responsibility for the International Customer Support Team. The role will involve directly managing and leading the sales territory and driving growth opportunities in this market. If you are an experience Sales Director and have a passion for protecting Law Enforcement & Military professionals, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Reporting to the VP of International, this role will be responsible for meeting sales revenue and business development targets within the South America territory. A key element of the role will be identifying and successfully securing business development and sales opportunities in the designated market, regions or countries. The position will support business development and market research activities, interact with company representatives, corporate business partners and end-user agencies regarding company products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Line management responsibility for 2 direct reports
  • Develops a detailed understanding of productions, sales objective and growth strategies, pricing and delivery policies and practices
  • Understands the prospects and customer's critical issues and initiatives and linking solutions to ensure achievement
  • Assists in the development of sales, pursuit, and capture of strategies to generate revenues for company products within the assigned geographic territory
  • Conducts briefings, capability presentations and training demonstrations for products and services within sales territory
  • Develops and maintains customer contacts, initiates, and establishes new contacts with the military, embassies, Federal Law Enforcement, and other government agencies
  • Establishes, maintains, and grows high-level, executive level relationships with key decision makers and market drivers
  • Qualifies prospects according to capabilities and applicability. Managing the execution of the sales process and leveraging appropriate resources to secure sales
  • Assumes leadership and ownership of presentation, proposals and other documents including RFP and FRI responses
  • Provides accurate sales forecasts based on realistic close timelines
  • Communicating product improvements and recommendations that originate in the field.
  • Utilizes automated forecasting tools to track all opportunities and prospect/customer related information
  • Manages partners and key users of the various channel networks and ensures they are current on product line and working effectively on our behalf
  • Provides functional and technical guidance and leadership to our channel partners
  • Manages resources to achieve results within the assigned territory
  • Monitors revenue achievement against targets and adjusts sales plans/territory strategies according.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors' degree in International Business and/or Marketing, Management, or related fields. Prefer MBA in International Business or related field
  • Assertive, highly motivated hunter with solid track record of project leadership to completion
  • Motivated, self-starting leader with significant experience in the market
  • Previous experience working in International Contracts and standard practices and protocols
  • Previous experience in Business Development/Sales with Military/Law Enforcement/Public Safety/Security markets
  • Experience managing a team of technical support, sales and marketing resources
  • Consultative, value-proposition/business case driven sales methodology experience
  • Must be an articulate, persuasive, and passionate communicator
