About the role:

Expert career individual contributor role. Experienced professional with broad experience and unique knowledge. Able to act independently to resolve highly complex problems. Is regarded as a leader and expert in their field. May coordinate and guide the work of others.

Elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate business/user requirements for processes, policies, and information systems. Translate business needs/end-user requirements into functional specifications that describe what the system, process or product/service must do to fulfil the end-user/business requirements. Perform activities required to maintain a high level of availability and stability for one or more applications including change deployment and certification, application performance, application management and development support.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Work with clients and BPaaS Operations teams to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs.

  • Clearly articulate and document business requirements and translate it into functional specifications.

  • Provide analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation.

  • Develop strong partnerships with clients that focus on being a trusted advisor.

  • Work with Project Managers, Architects, Developers, and other team members to design solutions.

  • Participate in Functionality Testing, Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing, document test cases and results.

  • Follow change management process regarding change deployment.

  • 3+ years of experience.

Plus Experience:

  • Knowledge of financial services industry.

  • Proven delivery track record of working as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development.

  • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.

  • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.

  • Knowledge of Java based applications a plus but not required.

  • SQL knowledge a plus but not required

Miscellaneous:

  • Good communication skills

  • Good to have finance [Capital Market] domain Knowledge

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.

  • Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.

  • May be involved in customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the issue is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

  • Review support transition checklists received from implementation.

  • Work on small CX projects independently or have ownership of project execution when multiple staff members are working on the project.

  • Coordinate queue management and resolution times for technical support tickets.

  • Liaise with functional support teams to address technical support items and assist the team with client triage sessions.

  • Collaborate with Prod Ops to track daily load monitoring issues and aid as required to the Ops teams to address load processing issues.

  • Train junior support engineers to help them perform day to day support operations.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $73,250.00 - $119,400.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
