We're looking for people who are passionate about payments to chart FIS Networks' path to being the largest and most-preferred national debit network.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity focused on building connections with the merchant and acquirer community, clearly articulating how we enhance their payments ROI (through best-in-class authorization rates, network reliability, and highly competitive economics), then converting those prospects into active FIS Network partners (solving our clients' needs with a strong value proposition and executing direct payment transaction routing agreements). • Develop new merchant/acquirer accounts.

  • Complete the market research to identify new target merchants and segments, collecting pertinent information that is essential in developing routing agreements

  • In parallel, you will also form partnerships with key influencers and decision makers throughout the Payments Industry.

  • Effectively manage multiple priority clients, be organized, self-motivated to support achieving revenue targets.

  • Collaborate with SME teams across FIS in Product, Sales and Business Lines to grow clients' share of wallet.

What you bring:

  • Working knowledge of payments from a mix of experience across network operations, transaction processing and/or merchant acquiring

  • More than 5 years of work experience and 2-5 yearsof relevant payments industry experience

  • Proficiency in standard office software, such as MS Office for building pitch documents in PowerPoint, term sheets in MS Word and deal based financial models in Excel.

  • Influence and consultative skills with strong agency to drive revenue for the FIS Networks - NYCE & CULIANCE.

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills to support pipeline management, deal structuring and ROI modelling

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven organizational skills; resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing information

  • Ability to travel 5-10% domestically

Added bonus if you have:

  • Familiarity with transaction-based pricing (versus license or seat/user-based pricing schemes) and experience articulating per transaction ROI for clients

  • Experience working with merchant acquirers, payment processors, or large merchants/corporates that utilize various forms of payment and have the scale to actively manage the forms of payment they accept

  • Direct Debit Network sales experience, specifically articulating the benefits and ROI from alternative debit routing for merchants and acquirers

  • Experience with MS access, SQL, Power BI and/or other common analytics packages
