Job Description

How you will do it

  • Participates in driving productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction for assigned customer(s) through the order life cycle
  • Communicate and resolve issues with customers and personnel regarding the scheduling of service repair work. Alert management of potential problems resulting from customer or field complaints and work to resolve.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize scheduling backorders in addition to tracking and resolving customer issues. Reassign work as needed to manage customer's expectations making judgements based on current workloads and priorities.
  • Monitor Technician activity and schedules ensuring that customer commitments are met, clearly communicate status changes back to the customer regarding early or late anticipated arrivals of parts.
  • PO requisitions, subcontractor coordination, completion of orders for invoicing.
  • Coordinate fire marshal advisements and update.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Scheduling and optimization of area fire sprinkler services.
  • Assign task in ACE for all scheduling.
  • Utilize and update Open Call Reports
  • Review and clear on hold reports for Fire Sprinkler Service
  • Reassign work as needed to manage customer's expectations making judgments based on current workloads and priorities.
  • Rental equipment procurement if required.
  • Procuring outside resources if required.
  • Perform other duties as directed by TSM or Fire Sprinkler Service Supervisor
  • Parts management, billings, and assist with collections
  • Data Entry
  • AR/AP for a large specific customer base
  • Coordinate permitting with the Fire Marshal for all service work.
  • Experience permitting with the City of Jacksonville.

What we look for

Required

  • Associates degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Preferred minimum of 1-2 years of service industry experience, operations and/or service scheduling.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
  • Must have the ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
  • Able to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.
  • Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principals is desired.
  • Able to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks/goals.
