Logistics Exercise Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Perform in a Logistics Exercise Planner role, demanding a high level of expertise in critical logistics information and operations to provide decision advantage. Orchestrate all stages of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) for multiple exercise work streams simultaneously, from Concept Development Conference to Final Planning Conferences, Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) conference, and logistics. Create and manage schedules and battle rhythms, and coordinate with Joint Logistics requirements such as Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Recognized Logistics Picture (RLP), and Global Command and Control System-Joint (GCCS-J). Develop Task Evaluation and Observation Worksheets, contribute to After-Action Reports (AARs), and handle Requests for Information (RFI) within the region. Oversee knowledge management systems, maintain accessible and updated content, and be prepared for non-standard hours and international travel to support crisis and surge operations. Play a critical role in ensuring streamlined logistics operations and support decision-making processes efficiently and effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a military or government logistics and sustainment operations professional
  • 5+ years of experience with Joint Logistics operations and planning
  • 3+ years of experience with supporting the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility
  • Experience with using data analytics to support logistics operations
  • Experience with systems, including All Partners Access Network (APAN), EPIC, Close Air Support (CAS), Joint Training Information Systems, DRRS, Global Video Services (GVS), Connect, Microsoft Teams, and Joint Master Scenario Events List (JMSEL)
  • Knowledge of logistics methodologies
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with briefing and providing training for senior military and civilian leaders
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and across departments and commands
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of initiative in executing past roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to stay highly organized, flexible with tasking, and multitask
  • Ability to pay strong attention to detail
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent briefing, coaching, and leading skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
