Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Regional Manager for our Central and Northern Florida markets. This is a high impact position responsible for operational growth in the construction services market.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. The insurance package includes medical, dental, vision, and supplemental life. Additional insurances, at no cost to the employee: life (employee only), accidental death and dismemberment, business travel and accident, and short- and long-term disability are also provided. Responsibilities
    Provide overall leadership to the construction services group in Northern Florida
  • Identify growth opportunities with FDOT and other state and local clients
  • Hire, train, and manage staff to deliver construction services
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with clients
  • Support technical and cost proposal development for new pursuits
  • Lead continuous staff improvement and training
  • Provide thought leadership to the construction management team
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Civil Engineering degree or degree in related field
  • Professional Engineer in Florida, or ability to obtain in 6 months
  • 12 years' experience in construction management of civil highway and bridge projects
  • Strong, well-developed client relationships
  • Prior success in leading a growing organization
  • Strong skills in developing written proposals and presenting proposals to clients
  • Experience in managing operational aspects of a construction services group to include hiring and training staff and assigning staff to projects,
  • Working knowledge of FDOT construction and administrative procedures and programs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
