Job Description

This role ensures that the Finance organization is designed for successful execution of its priorities and that it is positioned for sustainability beyond that.

Reporting to the Global Lead for Resourcing and Special Projects, the Resourcing & Talent Specialist is expected to be an experienced practitioner of competency development, workforce planning, skill assessment and resource management to senior leaders within the organization. The role will be jointly engaged in providing advisory services to Finance leaders and in developing internal capability and ensuring they have the capacity and capability to deliver on the business priorities. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver quality workforce planning and talent solutions.

The role will primarily be engaged in the following:

*Lead and/or support talent, skills and workforce planning projects at all levels of the organization from scoping to delivery; specifically, contracting, scoping, collaboration on design options, recommendations and implementation planning and delivery

*Ensure the design of competency frameworks, skill assessment and workforce planning is aligned to the business strategy

*Lead and/or contribute to building a sustainable internal workforce planning and talent infrastructure including tools, resources, processes and methodologies

*Contribute to the successful design and operation of an engagement model with HR, Finance, central CoEs and the business

*Play both a consulting and a governance role in ensuring that all workforce planning and capability growth is aligned with the Finance goals

*Contribute to the development of other team members


About you:

*You've consulted with poise and credibility to senior leaders (Executive level) in large, global organizations

*You're passionate about workforce planning, talent and skills and bring both technical expertise and practical experience as a consultant to senior levels of the organization

*You're focused on delivering solutions that aren't just theoretical - they're well thought out through consultation with the business and consider realistic paths to implementation

*You're a systems thinker and can connect the dots across organizational systems to propose solutions that will optimize success

*You've can present ideas and concepts in a manner that increases understanding and drives discussions forward (especially visually and in presentations)

*You're experienced and effective leading workshops, design sessions, etc.

*You're passionate about your own continued growth as well as growing capability in those you partner with and work with

*You're experienced and comfortable using project management methodologies when required


Education & Experience:

*Bachelor's degree required; Graduate degree including MBAs welcome

* 7-10 years' experience in financial services preferred

*Minimum 5 years direct experience leading or supporting workforce planning and/or talent projects for clients; mix of other comparable experience may be considered

*Experience working across multiple geographies and contexts preferred

*Demonstrated experience with workforce planning and talent including stakeholder management and communications in large global organizations

*Experience working with models that address and ensure alignment between such things as strategy, capabilities, structure, processes, rewards and people practices

*Strong background in communication and stakeholder management

*Strong facilitation skills including design and delivery of workshops sessions
