As a 2022 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including quarterly performance connects with your manager and bi-annual merit reviews.

This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June and September with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will;

  • Build a network of your peers from across the organization

This position is for a June 2022 start.

About The Team

This is an exciting opportunity within our Risk Services business, with several office locations across the US, UK, Serbia and India. We provide risk-based investment decision support services and solutions to institutional investors, hedge funds, private equity firms, and third-party administrators.

What You Will Be Doing

You will join an experienced team ultimately focused on producing risk analysis for our clients. You will rotate through our client services, model production and research teams - gaining exposure to all aspects of the business, as well as valuable experience in relation to the broader risk management function in the asset management industry.

The rotational program has noted assessment points built in, to allow for a review of your progression and to identify and gauge your strengths and interests. You will become a specialist and will work on challenging projects in a stimulating environment, learning from some of the most talented and knowledgeable people in their fields.

As you rotate through the different teams, your responsibilities will vary and typically include:

  • Technical and product support: Proactively ensuring clients receive timely resolution to queries and support issues.
  • Pre-sales support: Assisting the sales team in providing high-quality sample reports to prospects and supporting the prospect during the trial phase
  • Training: Providing training to the client, highlighting features valuable to the client's existing and potential new workflows
  • Risk modelling: Working with our research and model production team to maintain, innovate, and distribute our risk data models
  • Client relationship management: Maintaining an active dialogue with the client ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and an ongoing plan to maximize the value of our services within their business

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree from Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Market risk and/or asset management experience (from an academic and/or internship)
  • Prior experience of working with market data and familiarity with financial market data vendors, such as Refinitiv, S&P, Moodys, MorningStar, etc.
  • Prior experience in programming (in any programming language) desirable
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of internal stakeholders including development and product management
