QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or related technical education required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in live and non-live broadcasts in a studio environment.
Working knowledge of studio set maintenance are repair.
Must be able to climb a ladder or use a lift.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Sports production background preferred, experience with the game of golf a plus.
Schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays with weekly schedule primarily Wednesday – Sunday
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Direct oversight of all broadcast studios at the PGA TOUR Studios facility. Current plan is to have seven studios within this facility.
Work with Studios scheduling team as well as the production teams to make sure studio spaces are ready and prepared for both internal and external clients.
Make sure everything is operational within the four walls of each studio, including hard sets, lighting equipment and scenic pieces. Maintain, repair, or install anything within the studio as per the client’s needs.
Move set pieces within the studios as well as to and from the set scenic room.
Maintain props and associated set pieces to assure they are inventoried and in good working order.
Work with management to budget the upkeep as well as new items that may be required for the studios.
Maintain studio lights and replace any LEDs as needed.
Maintain current knowledge of technical trends in the studio production industry.
Communicate all technical equipment problems immediately to Engineering through the maintenance reports and assist Engineering in locating and identifying equipment problems as needed.
Maintain operations within the guidelines of PGA TOUR Technical Procedures Manual
Responsible for checking the schedule daily for assignments and call times.
Special projects as assigned
