Summary of Job:
Perform all associated task included in line assembly operation to mass-produce products. To work efficiently and safely while maintaining target range on the following KPS's: discrepancies, accidents, repairs, reworks, material yield, desired delivery dates and inventory cycle counts.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work at different workstations as production needs require
• Assemble products for stock as needed
• Assist Quality Control in production
• Observe all safety regulations and procedures of the facility
• Assist with keeping production area clean and organized
• Participate in kaizen activities to achieve productivity and quality improvements
• Train associates as required
• Perform support operations including, but not limited to Forklift Operator, Team Lead, Inventory, and Receiving
• Notify supervisor of non-conforming product
• Notify supervisor of unsafe equipment or work practices
• Keep freezer location organized and maintain FIFO order (first in-first out)
• Material management to utilize end rolls
• Read and understand BCDs
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

• Two to three (3) years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience within the cutting department.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• General knowledge in the use of hand tools and shop operation
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customer, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Must work well with others and be a team member
• Ability to accept direction from peers

Physical Demands:

• Standing, walking, sitting, and lifting or pulling to 40 pounds

Safety Requirements:

• General Safety Guidelines and other guidelines are required by specific duties assigned

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing work environment - inside -climate controlled.
