This role is more than just coding. We need a software engineer, with experience in DevOps who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify and implement system improvements. Using Agile life cycle development and Java, you'll work with the development team to build applications supporting financial accounting efforts. You'll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

-Experience with user interfaces and problem data classes, including class versus instance properties and methods, abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance and multiple inheritances, polymorphism, software design techniques, and problem solving

-Experience with Agile software development processes and techniques

-Experience in software development phases, including requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation Web applications with Java technologies

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree and 4+ years of experience with software development or 8+ years of experience with software development in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with toolsets, including Atlassian tool suite, GIT, Bitbucket, Cucumber, Confluence, Jenkins, and JIRA

-Experience with test-driven and behavior-driven development
